Gays have made some of the best music ever—- Tchaikovsky,Elgar,Britten,Bernstein,Copland,Barber-as well as the likes of Elton John and George Michael. Her poetry isn’t lousy, Dylan is. “Love song to a stranger” is a much more beautiful lyrics than any of Dylan’s. Besides, Dylan is not a good singer and I’m getting tired of listening old folk Irish & Scottish tunes Dylan shamelessly took. I know I”l get many thumbs down from Dylan’s admirers, but I know what a Poet is and Dylan isn’t one. If Dylan is a poet, then we need another word for John Clare, Robert Herrick, Lord Tennyson, S T Coleridge, Robert Burns etc etc etc
